Abstract
En el presente artículo se procura definir el estatuto científica de la "neuroteología". Las razones más importantes por las que se plantea dicho problema :son a) las dificultades que entraña su objeto de estudio; b) su supuesta evocación de la frenología; c)los objetivos que persigue, y d) sus limitaciones metodológicas. No obstante, se sugiere que la neuroteología, a pesar de las lagunas e inconsistencias propias de una disciplina emergente, tiene bases epistémicas suficientemente definidas para ser tipificada como "ciencia".STOA is a biannual publication edited by the Institute of Philosophy of the Universidad Veracruzana, Tuxpan, No. 29, Frac.
