Abstract
Las explicaciones evolucionistas de la mente han tomado como baluarte el concepto de intencionalidad, recuperado de la obra de Brentano, para fundar una serie de disciplinas (como la Etología Cognitiva y la Cognición Primate) encargadas de su estudio experimental. En el presente trabajo, nos cuestionamos la posibilidad de naturalizar al propio Brentano y, tras una exploración de su obra psicológica, lo confrontamos con el darwinismo, para tender un puente entre psicología genética y psicología descriptiva.STOA is a biannual publication edited by the Institute of Philosophy of the Universidad Veracruzana, Tuxpan, No. 29, Frac.
