Abstract

In recent decades contraception has been practiced with the devices produced by the biomedical model, among which one of the most reliable and recommended is the hormonal contraceptive for exclusively female use. In this paper we will explore how this drug affects the biopsychosocial well-being of those who use it and how these conditions constitute a vulnerability gestated or produced by biomedicine.
