Abstract
This text offers an understanding of the environmental impact caused by the mass production of concrete rubble. To this end, a paradigmatic analysis is carried out in which rubble serves as a case study to show the social, environmental, and urban consequences of its production. Based on this approach, the thesis is put forward that concrete, which generates debris, like many products, reflects the disposable nature of our world. On this basis, its mass production is reaffirmed as part of a system and industry that exploits resources and, in turn, increases geographical and spatial inequalities and injustices.
